Journalist Saram Chaudhary associate with Akhawari fortnightly was attacked by 3 unknown persons on September 13 in Bardiya, a district lies in province 5 of Nepal.
As per the information received by Freedom Forum (FF), 3 unknown people attacked journalist Chaudhary and made him injured in Barbardiya Municiplity-5. They also damaged the Chaudhary’s Camera.
Freedom Forum condemns the incident that obstructed on journalist's right to free reporting. It is the sheer violation of press freedom and freedom of information. The journalist is in need of due compensation to the damaged camera.
