Freedom Forum shows its serious concern over the continued incidents of press freedom violation in Nepal. A serious incident of press freedom violation observed at 1 February 2011. Cadres of Young Communist League (YCL), youth wing of largest political party in constituent assembly of Nepal have direct involvement in the events.
YCL cadres attacked program host of Nepal Television, Hari Ghimire not disclosing the reason that made them to do so. Gimire hosts the radio program, Our Kathmandu through Nepal Television.
